"Meanings of Gathering"
**ArtMeant* Project’s First Online Exhibition**
"Meanings of Gathering” is an online exhibition featuring works by artists selected through ArtMeant Project’s open call presenting new productions that have not appeared in our previous selections.
This exhibition focuses on the potential of art as a space of encounter, beyond individual artistic practices. Each artist constructs their practice through different mediums, bodies, voices, or memories; yet these differences converge on a shared ground in the plurality of gathering, sharing, and creating.
Since the beginning, ArtMeant* Project has been dedicated to shaping an open field of expression while maintaining equal distance from everyone. Our refusal to become part of a mechanism that transforms everything into its own likeness, or excludes what does not resemble, is the core idea that has made this project and its selections possible.
The curatorial approach of our exhibitions also points toward a sense of community; we therefore invite these works to be read within that perspective. We understand art not merely as something to be exhibited, but as a movement a space of co-creation and emancipation.
Beyond hierarchical structures, we approach the act of gathering as a multi-layered concept, one that unfolds through resonance, alignment, and shared consciousness.
